Fiorina brings message of solutions-oriented leadership and governmental accountability to Maine contest
Augusta – The Maine Republican Party today has announced that Carly Fiorina has qualified for the March 5, 2016 Presidential Nominating Caucus Ballot.
Ms. Fiorina, former CEO of Hewlett Packard, submitted her filing to the Maine Republican Party on December 2, 2015.
Ms. Fiorina's story, rising from Secretary to CEO, is unique among candidates and an inspiration to thousands in Maine, where a rugged work ethic has been a hallmark of generations of Mainers working to improve themselves and the lives of their families.
“We welcome Carly Fiorina to the contest here in Maine, and look forward to her inspiring message being delivered to voters across this great state,” said Maine GOP Chairman Rick Bennett. “In her several visits to Maine over the past few months, Ms. Fiorina’s unique story and solutions-oriented leadership along with her demands for accountability in government have captured the attention of Maine Republicans. I look forward to her spirited participation in our March caucuses.”
The Maine GOP Presidential Nominating Caucus will be held Saturday, March 5th, from 9 AM until 7 PM at sites across the state of Maine. Candidates will compete for a direct allocation of delegate votes to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, where the Republican candidate for President of the United States will be officially nominated.
