This morning in an interview on WGAN, Congressman Bruce Poliquin spoke about why he supports the tax reform bill in the U.S. House of Representatives that is expected to be voted on today.

The first $24,000 for those who haven’t had a pay increase in ten years, the first $24,000 for a mom and dad, will be tax free…

If you have a child, we’re increasing the child tax credit from $1,000 to $1,600… if you have a second child, it’s another $1,600…

We have closed dozens and dozens of loopholes that only the wealthy and special interests can take advantage of because of their attorneys and accountants…

We’ve tried to drive down small business tax rates as much as we can, so the first $75,000 of a small business will be taxed at 9 percent, the lowest rate since the second world war.
