AUGUSTA- Today, the Maine GOP announced the addition of Conrad Tavarez as the Data Director for the 2018 Cycle. This is a crucial hiring that continues the momentum the Republican Party has sustained over the past year with President Trump’s stunning victory, and growing Republican success in Maine.
“We look forward to hitting the ground running with Conrad as our Data Director. With his leadership, experience, and talent, we are excited about our party’s commitment to working together,” said Jason Savage, Executive Director of the Maine GOP. “We know it is crucial to keep a Republican in the Blaine House, support candidates up for re-election, and compete for new seats up and down the ticket,” continued Savage, “We are grateful the Republican National Committee for their continued partnership and investment in our state.” BACKGROUND ON CONRAD TAVAREZ Conrad brings experience from across the country to Maine. In 2017 alone, he worked as the Field Director for a successful Congressional campaign in Montana, as well as Special Assistant to President Trump’s Inauguration Committee. With a degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California, he went on to become the CRNC’s field representative in Madison, Wisconsin (2014), and the NRNC Political Specialist and Legal Assistant from 2014 to 2015. “I feel honored and humbled to accept this great new opportunity afforded to me by Maine GOP. I’m excited to contribute to more Republican victories in Maine with Chair Kouzounas, Jason Savage, and the rest of the hard-working Maine GOP staff,” said Tavarez. He will officially assume his position on September 1, 2017.
